"Lady Crafts-A-Lot"   The Red Hat Society
began as a result of a few women deciding to greet middle age with verve, humor and elan. We believe silliness is the comedy relief of life, and since we are all in it together, we might as well join red-gloved hands and go for the "gusto" together. Underneath the frivolity, we share a bond of affection, forged by common life experiences and a genuine enthusiasm for wherever life takes us next. There are no dues, no rules and all we do is gather and have fun together.  (Sue Ellen, RHS)
 "Hello...and welcome to our site! I concur with Sue Ellen's philosophy. I love to be silly and gather with my Red Hat sisters to chat and giggle.  Planning fun and themed gatherings is always on the top of my Red hat "thinking cap!" I live life with zest and my dress motto is the more "bling" the better! I love to accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! If I look in the mirror and don't see enough "bling" then I turn right around and add some more! A girl can never be "too" flashy!"

Being a Red Hat Lady is having fun, acting down right silly, and showing the world you can shine at any age!

Breakfast Event with Purple, Red & Ravishing

At the Holiday Inn for breakfast event with Queen Diana & her group April 2nd. It was a grand event and Queen Diana is a wonderful hostess. We had a really nice time and it was great to meet the other Red Hat groups. Thank you again Queen Diana.

What Fun We Have at Our Events!

April 19th, 2012: "Miniature Golf and lunch at the Olive Garden" hosted by Pat S, we all met at the "Golf n' Stuff" Queen Diana and some of her members joined us. We pair off in 4s and played golf. Pam was our "hole in one" winner...we then drove over to the Olive Garden and met other members of the SB, Red Hat Mama's and The Twilite Gals...Pat made everyone little chicks on a sucker and when you took them off you could wear them as a pin too. :) There were about 22 of us there.March 12th, 2012: "Chocolate Party" we all met at Maria's house and the Dove chocolate lady was there. It was a small group. We got to sample lots of different types of food with chocolate added in it. Sometimes hard to tell it was really in there??? 

Feb 11th, 2012: "Meet & Greet" with the Red Hat Mama's  chapter at the Roadhouse Grill. there were 17 of us there. It was a lot of fun. We all introduced ourselves and Queen Jenny gave us some goodies and there were center pieces with flowers and hearts that Carole and  Pat S  won. The Queen and Vice Queens each got their own red champagne glasses filled with blinking lips and hearts. Everyone got heart candy too. 

Jan 28th, 2012: "1st Anniversary Luncheon" we all met at Buca di beppo's and enjoyed exploring all the "ambiance" of the decor. We ate a wonderful Italian meal that was served family style, then we were led by Queen Mum, And Vice Queen Pam in the 1st toasting using our "official SB" toast. Once we finished our meal Vice Queen Pam led us in song, singing our adopted SB Song, sung to melody of "You are my Sunshine" it was completed with dessert that SB Maria brought for us to enjoy. We had a wonderful day with good food, lots of "camaraderie" with our RH SB sisters, and a wonderful background of Buca di beppos! What a great day we had celebrating our 1st year together as the 
Social Butterflies!!!

 5/21: The photos are up from our last outing...


 5/4:I talked to Joan and she is still in pain but takes pain pills and was going for another nerve block. Lanni no longer lives with her, so when we have an event if you can pick her up give her a call. Marion is doing therapy and did walk a little outside. Carole is still doing therapy with her FX, but she is driving now. :)

What is a "Social Butterfly"?

A social butterfly is a female, who is extroverted, comfortable in social
situations, can talk to just about anyone, and who seem to have a certain

grace and ease when fluttering around the area. "Social Butterflies" can

move from group to group, briefly sipping in the nectar of each event and

sharing a few pleasant words with other members. Their social

adeptness makes it simple for the "Social Butterflies" to be at home in
 
large group settings and enhance conversations, praise the looks of the

other Red Hatters, and keep the party atmosphere more interesting!
